The Senior Product Manager for the Core Platform will lead the strategic development to prepare the platform for its next growth phase, focusing on scalability, security, reliability, and flexibility to support increasing technical complexity and customer demands. This foundational role affects all other product capabilities, including AI and agent functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

Set and communicate the Core Platform strategy and roadmap collaboratively with Engineering and Product leadership.
Prioritize investments by evaluating customer impact, enterprise requirements, technical risks, and engineering resources, clarifying trade-offs between immediate needs, technical debts, and long-term architecture.
Lead product discovery on challenging technical issues through direct engagement with enterprise clients and internal teams.
Drive enhancements in scalability and reliability of the execution engine, including worker pools and distributed execution management.
Improve trigger reliability and execution consistency within various deployment contexts, such as multi-main Cloud and self-hosted enterprise environments.
Develop more secure and adaptable methods for executing code in the platform.
Coordinate releases of major platform versions, managing migration strategies, stakeholder communication, and risk mitigation.
Define clear success metrics and ensure the team focuses on outcomes rather than just delivery.
Bridge communication between the Core team and other departments—Product, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Support—conveying platform trade-offs transparently.
Anticipate cross-team platform needs proactively by analyzing internal teams’ roadmaps to prevent blockers.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years’ product management experience, including 2–3 years dedicated to platform, infrastructure, developer-facing, or backend/API products.
Strong technical understanding to engage confidently with senior engineers in discussions about distributed systems, reliability, scalability, and execution models.
Successful leadership of complex cross-team technical projects, particularly involving migrations or significant architectural changes.
Proven decision-making skills under ambiguity to balance foundational technical work with customer and business impact.
Demonstrated ownership and initiative in problem-solving and driving results independently.
Excellent communication skills to explain intricate platform concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with enterprise platform environments, understanding challenges of self-hosted, air-gapped, or restricted deployments.

Preferred Skills

Ability to read or prototype code even without direct coding responsibilities.
Exposure to B2B SaaS enterprise concerns such as compliance, security, and deployment complexities.
Collaboration experience with security teams focused on code execution isolation and compliance.
Familiarity with workflow automation, orchestration, or open source and developer community products.
Preference for written communication to maintain clarity and alignment.
