Role Overview
The Senior Manager, University Relations Programs & Operations will own the enterprise approach for early career hiring, including university recruiting strategy, campus programs, operational processes, workforce planning, and the internship program. This leader will work closely with executive leaders, HR, and business partners to attract, engage, and convert student talent while strengthening the employer brand at target universities.
The position is remote and follows a 9/80 work schedule, meaning employees work 9 of every 14 days for a total of 80 hours and receive every other Friday off.
What You Will Do
- Direct university relations programs and campus recruiting operations across the enterprise, building a strong and diverse pipeline of interns, co-ops, and new graduates while ensuring a positive candidate journey.
- Shape the Corporate Headquarters early career hiring approach by partnering with business leaders and HR to anticipate hiring needs, set priorities, and meet yearly recruitment goals.
- Create and run the enterprise partner school strategy by identifying, selecting, and developing university partnerships that support future workforce requirements.
- Expand the employer brand at priority universities and through digital channels using tools and campaigns such as Yello, Handshake, the careers site, social media, and recruitment marketing efforts.
- Lead early career workforce planning by converting business demand into proactive recruiting plans and talent pipelines.
- Improve recruiting efficiency and consistency by designing, documenting, and refining processes, governance, metrics, and standard work.
- Own the summer internship program at the enterprise level, ensuring interns have meaningful development opportunities, strong engagement, and high conversion to full-time roles.
- Hire, coach, and develop the university relations team while promoting accountability, continuous improvement, and career growth.
- Work with Legal, Ethics & Business Conduct, HR, and business leaders to maintain compliance with employment laws, affirmative action obligations, OFCCP requirements, and audit readiness.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree with at least 9 years of relevant experience is required. A graduate degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience is also acceptable. In the absence of a degree, candidates need at least 13 years of directly related experience.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Background in building and executing enterprise university relations or early career recruiting strategies.
- Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors; experience using Yello or Handshake is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead campus recruiting, internship programs, and university partnerships at scale.
- Strong business judgment with the ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across functions and business segments.
- Track record of improving processes, driving operational excellence, and managing change in talent acquisition.
- Leadership skills in coaching and team development, with experience building high-performing teams.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple strategic priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay transparency information provided for this role includes the following salary ranges: California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C., Denver, or NYC areas: $126,000 to $234,000; Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont: $109,500 to $203,500. Final compensation may differ based on experience and location.

Available programs may vary based on hire date, schedule type, and collective bargaining agreements where applicable.
