Senior Financial Analyst

Overview

Shivangi Associates-SA is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support our educational consulting business through expert financial planning and analysis. This part-time role based in Munich offers a hybrid work environment, combining on-site presence with remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements to assure data accuracy.
• Develop comprehensive forecasts and budgets to support organizational strategy.
• Perform variance and trend analyses to guide leadership's decision-making process.
• Create detailed financial models and support regular financial reporting cycles.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain data integrity across activities.
• Conduct cost-benefit assessments for proposed new projects and initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance.
• Recommend process enhancements to improve financial operations and reporting quality.

Candidate Requirements

• Solid expertise in finance with strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Experience in scrutinizing financial reports and statements with an ability to interpret results effectively.
• Advanced analytical capability to transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.
• Familiarity with Excel, financial modeling software, and business intelligence tools.
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related discipline; professional qualifications such as CFA or CPA are a plus.
• Previous exposure to consulting, educational, or professional service sectors is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying financial information clearly to those without finance background.
• Self-driven with strong multitasking skills, and comfortable working in a hybrid office and remote configuration in Munich.
