Role Overview

This Senior Executive role involves technical coordination and design for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems within real estate projects. You will collaborate with architects, structural teams, consultants, and site personnel to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key Technical Responsibilities

Coordinate internally with architecture, structural, consultants, and site teams for project completion.
Understand architectural and structural drawings thoroughly and interpret design intent.
Detail underground (UG) and overhead (OH) tanks, sections, and sleeve layouts.
Prepare coordinated MEP layouts and sectional drawings.
Design terrace looping and down-take layouts for water supply piping.
Develop internal water supply and drainage piping layouts.
Design external wastewater networks aligned with surrounding sewage mains.
Plan routing of sewage and water supply pipelines.
Prepare coordinated drawings for storm water drainage (SWD), drainage, and rainwater harvesting (RWH) at ground level.
Draft plumbing and fire fighting schematic layouts.
Design air conditioning layouts for VRF and split AC systems; knowledge of chilled water HVAC systems is advantageous.
Prepare MOEF (Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change) and HRC layouts.
Coordinate with electrical and HVAC teams as needed.
Create shop drawings for fire fighting shafts and external hydrant layout, including isometric piping drawings.
Develop fire hydrant and sprinkler layouts.
Prepare builder’s work details such as slab and wall openings.
Calculate quantities and prepare Bills of Materials (BOM).
Manage project documentation, including filing and scanning.
Visit sites to resolve engineering and design-related issues.
Stay updated on local design standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
Review design basis reports (DBR) and concept design reports for MEP systems.
Monitor drawing submission schedules and resolve Request for Information (RFI) queries from sites.

Candidate Profile

Educational Criteria:

Minimum 12th grade completion.
ITI Draftsman course completed with proficient AutoCAD skills.
Basic knowledge of Revit MEP software.
Diploma qualification is an added advantage.

Experience: 8 to 10 years of core design experience in mechanical services including Public Health Engineering, Fire Fighting & HVAC within the real estate sector, preferably with a Grade A Developer.

Attributes: Teamwork orientation, positive attitude, adaptability, commitment, strong communication skills, and solid technical knowledge.

Work Experience

Between 4 to 6 years but core relevant experience is 8 to 10 years.
