Senior Engineer, Equipment Maintenance

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Engineer focused on equipment maintenance for a transmission network in Dubai. This position centers on keeping high-voltage substation assets operating safely and reliably through hands-on work across installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and fault resolution.

Core Responsibilities

The role involves supporting 400/132kV transmission substation equipment, with direct exposure to Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), power transformers, shunt reactors, circuit breakers, and related auxiliary systems. You will also be expected to diagnose technical issues, identify why failures occur, react to alarms, and document findings in clear technical reports.

Technical Scope

Strong familiarity with GIS control logic, interlocking systems, operating mechanisms, hydraulic circuit breakers, and Partial Discharge (PD) monitoring is an advantage. The position requires the ability to work independently in a high-voltage environment while maintaining accurate and professional communication in English.
