This opportunity is for a Senior Data Analyst located in the United States, serving a partner organization focused on healthcare data. Key Responsibilities

Analyze complex and voluminous datasets to detect trends and patterns that inform strategic business directions.
Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reports leveraging data visualization platforms to enhance accessibility and diminish manual reporting workload.
Collaborate closely with business leaders and multidisciplinary teams to comprehend objectives and deliver actionable insights.
Move beyond descriptive reporting to create forward-looking insights identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and business enhancements.
Construct and sustain accurate, consistent data models integrating multiple data sources with integrity.
Utilize statistical methodologies and machine learning techniques to tackle sophisticated business problems.
Work alongside engineering, IT, product, and other stakeholders to refine data pipelines and data collection methods.
Extract valuable insights from healthcare claims data, including medical and pharmacy claims information.
Rapidly assimilate new datasets and communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences.
Guide and mentor junior analysts, advocating for a robust data-centric organizational mindset.
Remain informed about current analytics trends, new technologies, and business intelligence best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a quantitatively rigorous field.
Minimum of five years’ experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related analytics disciplines.
Proven expertise working with healthcare claims data encompassing medical and pharmacy components.
Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying and managing extensive datasets.
Experience in using visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
Strong grasp of data modeling, statistical analysis, and visualization principles.
Competent in programming languages like Python or R for data processing and analytical automation.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms including Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
Preferred knowledge of healthcare data standards, such as diagnosis, procedure codes, and claims formats.
Excellent communication skills with the aptitude to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
Skilled in data storytelling, enabling the translation of data insights into pragmatic business recommendations.
Detail-oriented, strong problem-solving skills, and adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience with AI-enabled analytics tools and modern analytical technologies is advantageous.
Master’s degree or advanced certifications in quantitative areas is a plus.
