In Nuremberg, the focus is on airborne radar electronic support measures, electronic countermeasures, communications intelligence, electronic support measures, and sensor data fusion.

We seek a Security Administrator to join our Operations Support - Security department in Nuremberg. This permanent full-time position contributes significantly to enforcing and advancing security requirements across the company. The role supports continuous enhancement of security processes, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations as well as internal standards relating to security, information protection, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Security Officer (SiBe) with all aspects of national and international industrial security and information confidentiality.
  • Participate in physical security and personnel security matters within sensitive and classified environments.
  • Support project managers and leadership in interpreting and applying security regulations, laws, and standards on a global scale.
  • Help manage IT system administration tasks and contribute to reviewing and improving policies and procedures for classified IT environments.
  • Develop and enhance security awareness initiatives including e-learning, in-person training, and awareness campaigns to foster a strong security culture among employees.
  • Serve as a point of contact for security-related queries and disseminate pertinent information through internal communication channels like the intranet.
  • Collaborate closely with related security functions such as site security, occupational safety, information security, and IT departments.

Candidate Profile

  • Completed vocational training, degree, or equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience in security.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of quickly building relationships and collaborating effectively within and outside the organization.
  • Familiarity with security legislation, regulations, and compliance frameworks.
  • Self-driven with awareness of how their role impacts the organization's overall success.
  • Experience working in authorities or international companies, understanding security demands within business processes.
  • Preferably experience with classified IT systems and operation of information security management systems (ISMS).
  • Knowledge of information security standards such as ISO 27001 or NIST, and experience with audits and project management is advantageous.
  • Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
  • Flexible and willing to undertake necessary business travel.
