Currently, we are assisting a technology enterprise based in Berlin to revamp their reporting frameworks and internal data workflows. To support this effort, we are seeking a Scrum Master Intern who will help facilitate our project delivery with transparency and reliability.

This position is fully remote and full-time, allowing you to work from any location where you can be most productive while contributing to a notable international client's project.

Role Overview

As a Scrum Master Intern, you will support senior consultants in managing the workflow of technology-driven projects. We emphasize minimal bureaucracy—avoiding unnecessary meetings—and strive for clear communication and removing barriers that hinder productivity. Your responsibility will include organizing tasks, ensuring clear definitions, and keeping project management boards accurate and up to date.

Moreover, you will assist in collecting requirements and preparing documentation for handover materials, helping create resources the client can utilize independently after project completion. This role offers a unique opportunity to observe professional consulting methodology free from corporate excesses, witnessing how projects transition from fixed-price agreements to successful live system transfers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily team check-ins to clarify objectives and identify obstacles requiring resolution.
• Manage and update project management platforms and task boards, maintaining clear priorities for engineering and consulting personnel.
• Support the organization and facilitation of sprint planning and retrospectives aimed at practical enhancements.
• Contribute to maintaining detailed project documentation, including configuration manuals and technical specs to ensure smooth client handoff.
• Track team workload and collaborate with senior consultants to balance deadlines and deliverables.
• Work with team members to streamline and simplify internal processes.
• Serve as an administrative liaison by capturing meeting minutes and managing follow-ups on action items.

Candidate Requirements

• A foundational understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum, acquired through academic projects, personal experience, or internships.
• Excellent organizational abilities to juggle multiple ongoing tasks without sacrificing attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, suitable for remote collaboration.
• A professional mindset coupled with eagerness to learn how complex enterprise performance and resource planning systems operate.
• Dependability and capacity to work autonomously while remaining engaged with a distributed team.
• Basic knowledge of project management tools like Jira or Trello is advantageous but not essential.
• A passion for consulting and leveraging technology to address business challenges affecting finance and operations.
