Scrum Master

Position Overview

Ektello is collaborating with a leading entertainment company in Orlando, FL, to recruit a Scrum Master for their expanding engineering team. This opportunity is a long-term W2 contract role with hybrid working arrangements, including onsite presence from Monday to Thursday. The contractor will be eligible for paid time off (PTO), with access to medical and 401k benefits. Candidates must be amenable to working on a W2 basis; C2C arrangements are not accepted.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate key agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and sprint demonstrations.
• Coordinate with the Release Train Engineer to align and integrate activities across teams.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to confirm and communicate development priorities.
• Coach, lead, and incentivize the team to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Provide guidance on applying Agile and Scrum methodologies to maximize value delivery.
• Act as the team's Scrum authority, championing continuous improvements in workflow and removing obstacles to maintain optimal productivity.
• Encourage self-organization within the team, filling intentional gaps left in Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Maintain open communication channels to ensure priority alignment among program stakeholders and team members.
• Foster a trusting and psychologically safe team environment that emphasizes proactive problem resolution and healing.
