Role Overview

We seek an experienced Sales Associate to lead the identification, onboarding, and expansion of High Value Seller (HVS) accounts on the Amazon.in platform. The ideal candidate has a background in Brand and Distributor account management, is comfortable navigating ambiguous situations to build new business, and can strategically drive growth plans year over year for both Amazon and HVS sellers. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing B2B communications, meticulous planning of short- and long-term strategies for senior leadership, delivering excellent client experiences, and acting as an independent business owner coordinating cross-functional teams to meet objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to business strategy, identify target HVS accounts for pitching, align relevant stakeholders, and onboard accounts for Amazon marketplace sales.
  • Manage complex performance metrics to accelerate growth, enhance both End-customer and Seller experience, and enable scalable business in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with High Value Sellers (including trade mark registered brands and distributors of national brands) and internal stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate.
  • Analyze customer feedback, market trends, and key performance data to help design features and programs that support HVS account growth and improve partnership efficiency; identify inefficiencies and simplify processes.

Daily Activities

The candidate will focus on driving revenue through strategic discussions and achieving account acquisition goals by implementing growth strategies for designated HVS accounts. Execution of account-level KPIs involves enhancing brand presence on the marketplace, utilizing multiple channels for expedited delivery, developing advertising plans, and improving product selection to increase sales orders. Leveraging category expertise, the associate will forecast business performance, lead seller engagements, and serve as the internal Voice-of-Seller influencing marketplace policies and product enhancements related to technology integrations, go-to-market channels, legal documentation, payments, and reimbursements.

Close collaboration is required with internal teams such as Category, Fulfillment, Finance, Product, and Advertising to align initiatives, as well as external stakeholders on the seller side from marketing, commercial, legal, IT, and supply chain sectors for necessary approvals.
