Job Objective

The Safety Officer position involves creating, executing, and sustaining an all-encompassing safety strategy tailored to the unique hazards in RISAL's industrial service operations. The role demands a forward-thinking professional capable of collaborating with operational teams, performing risk analyses, investigating incidents, and ensuring adherence to Saudi Arabian safety laws.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, apply, and uphold a holistic safety program addressing the specific dangers in RISAL's industrial services.
• Partner with RISAL's operations team to undertake detailed risk evaluations across client sites.
• Promptly and thoroughly probe workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
• Formulate and sustain emergency response plans tailored to RISAL's operational contexts.
• Guarantee full compliance with applicable Saudi Arabian regulations and industry norms.
• Effectively convey safety policies and protocols to employees.
• Assist supervisors with safety briefings and toolbox discussions.
• Continuously recognize and suggest enhancements for safety performance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of valid safety certifications such as OSHA, IOSH, or NEBOSH.
• At least five years of professional experience in a safety officer capacity.
• Preferably five to seven years in industrial cleaning or waste management settings.
• Competence with Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficient command of the English language.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian safety laws and industry standards.
• Preferred: Familiarity with procedures from Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, or NEOM.
• Preferred: Diploma in Safety or related disciplines.
