Safety Advisor

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Safety Advisor to join a well-established main contractor's expanding team, overseeing health and safety across multiple construction sites in South Dublin. This role involves supporting various commercial and residential projects within the Greater Dublin area.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from 65,000 to 70,000

Key Duties

• Develop and enforce Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures aligned with current national and local legislation
• Conduct scheduled site inspections and safety audits to detect hazards and enforce compliance with safety standards
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, recommending corrective and preventative actions
• Monitor and report health and safety performance metrics to foster continuous improvement across all supported sites

Essential Requirements

• A minimum of three yearsexperience as a Safety Advisor in the construction sector
• Relevant health and safety qualifications
• Comprehensive knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation
• Ability to juggle priorities across multiple locations effectively
• Valid and clean full driving licence is mandatory
