About the role
This is a full-time, on-site position in HSR Layout, Bangalore for a Robot Pilot focused on VR-based teleoperation. The role is part of a deep-tech robotics startup developing humanoid robots for industrial and manufacturing use. As a robot pilot, you will control humanoid robots through VR headsets and motion-capture tools, support real-world task execution, and create training data that helps improve robotic intelligence.
The opportunity is aimed at candidates who want practical exposure to robotics, virtual reality, and industrial automation rather than a conventional entry-level job. It offers direct involvement in building and testing advanced robotic systems in a fast-moving startup environment.

Key responsibilities
- Control humanoid robots using VR headsets and motion-capture equipment.
- Carry out industrial and operational work through live teleoperation.
- Produce high-quality training data that supports robot learning and performance improvement.
- Work with accuracy, coordination, and consistency while operating the robots.
- Share operational observations and feedback to help refine robotic systems.

Compensation and benefits
