Role Overview

We are seeking a Risk & Fraud Analyst to enhance our Risk Management team. The role involves investigating suspicious actions, monitoring payments and withdrawals, supporting KYC and fraud prevention, and identifying emerging threats throughout the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct manual risk assessments on withdrawals.
• Monitor suspicious accounts and activity including linked accounts, payment and bonus abuses, gameplay irregularities, and provider alerts.
• Investigate risks related to payments such as irregular deposits/withdrawals, duplicate payment methods, ownership issues, and suspicious transactions in both fiat and cryptocurrency.
• Support KYC-related investigations by reviewing failed or pending verifications, inconsistencies in documents, payment ownership, and potential third-party payment issues.
• Carry out investigations involving cryptocurrency wallets and blockchain analysis, including detecting repeated wallet use, funding origin, and abnormal transaction patterns.
• Analyze player behaviors across multiple dimensions like accounts, wallets, devices, IP addresses, payment methods, and gameplay to uncover fraud trends and risks.
• Utilize internal admin tools, payment systems, fraud detection platforms, KYC solutions, blockchain explorers, and reporting dashboards for investigations.
• Document investigation results clearly with evidence and rationale for decisions.
• Escalate complicated or high-risk cases as needed.
• Collaborate with Payments, Compliance, Product, VIP, and Customer Support teams.
• Participate in rotating shifts supporting a 24/7 Risk Operations function, including weekends.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Prior experience in iGaming operations related to Risk, Fraud, Payments, KYC, AML, or Player Operations.
• Proficient in conducting withdrawal reviews, suspicious account analyses, payment risk assessments, and fraud investigations.
• Strong knowledge of common iGaming fraud methods including multiple accounts, bonus/payment abuses, suspicious withdrawals, and account linking.
• Excellent analytical, investigative skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to evaluate risk objectively and make operational decisions grounded in sound judgement.
• Experience documenting investigations precisely and clearly.
• Independent, self-driven worker who also cooperates well across teams.
• Available to work rotating shifts as part of a continuous 24/7 operation.

Preferred but Not Required

• Experience with cryptocurrency payments, wallet management, blockchain analysis, or blockchain exploration tools.
• Familiarity with KYC and identity verification service providers.
• Knowledge of payment service providers and alternative payment methods.
• Experience working in crypto-first or high-volume iGaming environments.
• Understanding signs of sportsbook or casino fraud.
• Experience using fraud monitoring tools and operational dashboard software.
