Retail Operations Coordinator with Mall Experience

Role Overview

The Retail Operations Coordinator role focuses on ensuring tenants comply with their lease agreements while supporting mall standards in quality, customer service, and safety. This position involves close coordination with tenants, monitoring the retail environment, and supporting maintenance activities in a dynamic mall setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify tenant adherence to lease terms concerning pricing, merchandise quality, store aesthetics, permitted usage, mall regulations, and store timings.
• Initiate and coordinate store renovations as specified in lease agreements or as deemed necessary by mall management.
• Introduce innovative retail concepts to enhance the mall's overall look and feel.
• Conduct monthly inspections of tenant stores and report findings to the Retail Manager.
• Liaise with the Maintenance Department to address maintenance-related concerns.
• Ensure that all operational standards for quality, customer service, and health and safety are maintained within mall premises.
• Regularly visit mall stores, engage with tenant representatives to identify and resolve urgent issues promptly.
• Stay informed on retail market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming customer initiatives.
• Compare pricing and retail mix with other malls to maintain competitive advantage.
• Manage and follow up on continuous rent collection.
• Prepare detailed reports including mall visit reports, tenant audit reports, monthly rent collection, and departmental summaries.
