About the Role

The Reservations Supervisor is pivotal in managing the reservations department by overseeing daily operations and ensuring outstanding customer service. This leadership role involves guiding the reservation team and maintaining smooth, efficient booking workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the reservations team, including agents and coordinators.
• Support the development and implementation of strategies aimed at maximizing room revenue.
• Manage room inventory and availability across various distribution platforms.
• Ensure bookings are processed accurately and efficiently for both guests and travel partners.
• Work closely with the Reservations Manager to increase reservation numbers and revenue.
• Utilize reservation software tools to handle and monitor bookings effectively.
• Assist in the evaluation of booking patterns, occupancy rates, and revenue data.
• Provide training and mentorship to enhance the reservation team's customer service skills.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to reservations from customers and travel agents.
• Support the handling of group bookings and negotiate group pricing as required.
• Help in generating reports on reservation performance and key metrics.
• Engage in projects and initiatives related to improving reservation operations.
• Maintain safe and environmentally responsible practices to ensure the well-being of guests, team members, and conservation efforts.
• Comply with the hotel’s policies concerning environmental health and safety.
