Relief Service Driver

About the Role

We are looking for a full-time Relief Service Driver to operate primarily in Mullingar, County Westmeath, and across Ireland. This permanent position requires a commitment of 39 hours per week. As a driver, your responsibility includes visiting multiple customer locations to collect and safely dispose of hazardous waste such as sharp bins, poisons, dental waste, and other materials, while maintaining high safety standards and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to different client sites to service hazardous waste facilities safely and efficiently.
• Maintain the vehicle in safe operating condition and adhere rigorously to company driving guidelines to ensure road safety.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and present a professional demeanor at all times.
• Handle the manual loading and unloading of bins and waste units reliably.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full Irish driving license held for over two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Be physically capable and comfortable with manual handling tasks involved with loading and unloading waste units.
• ADR certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Show flexibility regarding work schedules to align with business requirements.
• Have a positive attitude with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Potentially undergo a disclosure background check depending on the role applied for.

Additional Information
