Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position is based in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, and is centered on building and managing relationships with micro and small business customers. The Relationship Manager will identify client needs, suggest appropriate loan and financial products, and support the full lending journey from sourcing to disbursal.
Key Duties
In this role, you will pursue new business opportunities, maintain strong relationships with current customers, assess creditworthiness, coordinate loan documentation, and help ensure timely disbursement. The job also includes regular fieldwork, collaboration with credit and operations teams, and ongoing monitoring of portfolio quality and repayment behavior.
You will be expected to deliver a high standard of customer service, uphold HFS’s focus on honesty and transparency, and contribute to business growth in the local market.
Required Profile
Ideal candidates bring the ability to develop trust-based customer relationships, communicate effectively, and serve micro and small enterprise clients with professionalism. Experience in lead generation, negotiation, and target-driven selling is useful, along with a practical understanding of cash flows, credit risk, and lending documentation.
Local market familiarity and the ability to build a referral network in Vijayawada and surrounding areas will be valuable. Strong follow-up, organization, and record-keeping skills are also important for success in this position.
A bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related discipline is preferred. Experience in NBFCs, banks, or MSME lending will be an added advantage. Candidates should be comfortable using English and the local language, have basic computer knowledge including MS Office and CRM tools, and be able to work independently in the field.
