Role Summary
The Regulatory Operations Specialist will execute the Regulatory Submission Plan coordinated by the International Business or project teams. This role requires collaboration with Market RSA, external distributors, and the Global Holistic Health team to ensure timely preparation and alignment of regulatory documents across multiple markets and product categories. Key duties include dossier compilation for licensing applications, utilizing the POLARIS registration system for document management, and managing change controls using the MOC tool. The specialist will also provide ad-hoc regulatory support as required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain and compile regulatory registration requirements for assigned markets and product groups.
- Coordinate with factories, global RSA teams, co-manufacturers, and distributors to gather and review necessary registration documents to ensure completeness and compliance before submission.
- Manage submission projects through the POLARIS system, update spreadsheets, maintain licensing databases, and train new RSA or distributor teams on system usage.
- Handle Management of Change (MOC) processes, including raising global and factory change controls, conducting market impact assessments, and communication of regulatory changes via the MOC tool.
- Support supply chain teams with documents necessary for import/export from US manufacturing facilities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related disciplines.
- Experience of five or more years in regulatory affairs, quality assurance, or R&D within the Food, Supplement, or Pharmaceutical industries.
- Knowledge of food/pharma registration and submission processes is advantageous.
- Project management experience demonstrating leadership in team-based projects.
- Familiarity with regulatory or document management systems is beneficial.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are an asset.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary range is $70,000 to $85,000 annually, varying based on experience, skills, and location. Nestlé offers performance incentives and comprehensive benefits packages including a 401(k) plan with company match and healthcare coverage.
