Role Overview

The Regulatory Affairs team ensures transparent engagement with regulators, anticipates regulatory changes, handles enquiries timely, and collaborates across departments to maintain compliance aligned with innovation. The Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager will uphold clear, compliant, and effective communication with regulatory authorities, establishing supervisory relations, monitoring legislative changes, and driving their integration within the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Articulate communication with regulators and internal teams, simplifying complex regulatory information.
• Keep regulators regularly informed about new products, initiatives, and other relevant updates.
• Collaborate with Risk and Compliance teams during incidents to coordinate communications.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for regulator meetings, internal committees, and the Board of Directors.
• Deliver regulatory training and updates to product and business teams.
• Create scalable processes and documentation to support team functions.
• Promote a culture of strong conduct and compliance throughout the organisation.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience within compliance or risk roles at regulated financial firms, fintech enterprises, or regulatory bodies.
• Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, communication, project leadership, and negotiation.
• Sound understanding of local financial regulatory frameworks and institutions.
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities to dissect complex data and identify critical actions.
• Deep familiarity with Singapore’s regulatory landscape and compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of payment systems and markets, emphasizing technology and mobile application environments.
