Overview
We are looking for a driven and detail-focused Quantity Surveyor to become part of a growing team in Riyadh. In this role, you will help keep projects financially on track by handling quantity measurements, estimating costs, managing contracts, and monitoring project expenditure so delivery stays aligned with budget and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out quantity take-offs from approved drawings, project specifications, and related requirements.
- Create and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Prepare cost estimates, conduct price checks, and support budget development.
- Examine engineering drawings and project documentation to measure quantities accurately.
- Prepare and verify payment certificates and invoices for contractors and suppliers.
- Track project spending and compare actual costs with approved budgets.
- Assess Variation Orders (VOs) and determine their cost implications.
- Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management teams.
- Produce regular cost updates, forecasts, and progress reports.
- Review contracts and confirm adherence to commercial and financial terms.
- Support tendering, procurement, and contract administration work.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a similar discipline is required.
- Previous experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Control, or Contract Management is needed.
- Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract-related documents.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, ERP platforms, and quantity surveying tools such as PlanSwift or CostX is preferred.
- Strong analytical ability, with good negotiation and communication skills.
- Capable of handling several projects at once in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience in real estate development or construction is an advantage.
- Arabic language skills are considered a plus.

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is offered on a full-time, onsite basis.
