Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor responsible for the preparation of Bills of Quantities, cost management for engineering and construction projects, cost planning and control, as well as compiling detailed cost reports. The incumbent must adopt a proactive stance to ensure financial objectives of projects are met and are consistently aligned with project parameters.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 12 years of experience focusing on steel industrial structures, with a strong preference for candidates with UAE-related experience
• Demonstrated expertise in factories, warehouses, power plants, or other industrial facilities
• Significant involvement in industrial construction or structural steel projects considered an advantage
• Membership or accreditation from RICS or an equivalent professional body is highly preferred
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Primavera scheduling software, AutoCAD, and cost control management tools
• Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation capabilities, and analytical reasoning
• Ability to effectively oversee multiple contractors and suppliers concurrently
• Familiarity with international steel standards
• Possession of a valid UAE driving license is mandatory
