About the Role

Advanced Couplings Ltd., part of the Ideal Tridon Group, is a global leader providing flow control solutions for the pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and Data Centre industries. We are seeking a seasoned Quality Manager to join our Roscommon, Ireland site. This role is vital in ensuring that company operations, products, processes, and the work environment comply with the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee the Quality Management System ensuring it aligns with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Manage internal quality audits, drive corrective actions, and champion continuous improvement efforts across the site.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance quality and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) processes through collaboration with different departments utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
  • Supervise quality control activities including sampling, inspections, testing, and audits to guarantee product compliance.
  • Analyze quality data to implement corrective and preventive measures proactively reducing issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and reports covering quality and EHS audits, incidents, corrective actions, and performance metrics for senior leadership review.
  • Lead and mentor the quality team by setting performance goals and fostering professional growth.
  • Engage with suppliers and customers by conducting audits and resolving quality-related concerns to maintain standards.
  • Formulate and execute risk mitigation strategies, develop response plans for potential EHS incidents, and support safety drills and reviews.
  • Travel within EMEA for training, audits, and quality support activities is required and expected.
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary to support broader business goals through a collaborative and quality-centric approach.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • At least five years of experience in quality assurance and EHS management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or related disciplines. Advanced certifications are advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, EHS regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency with quality improvement tools and techniques including Six Sigma, Lean, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and ability to build effective teams.
  • Competence in developing and delivering training programs.
  • Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to physically engage in the manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
