About the Role

Kingdom People seeks a detail-oriented Quality Controller to join a reputable FMCG company based in Marden, Kent. This role is pivotal in verifying that products adhere to quality, safety, and customer standards before distribution.

Key Responsibilities

Examine products for quality, appearance, and adherence to specifications.
Detect and report any defects, damages, or quality issues.
Oversee storage conditions to maintain product integrity.
Maintain precise inspection records and quality documents.
Assist in sampling products and conducting quality tests.
Collaborate with team members to investigate and address quality concerns.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company quality policies.
Provide guidance and training to new staff as necessary.

Candidate Profile

Experience in quality control, preferably within the FMCG sector.
Understanding of inspection routines and storage procedures.
Exceptional attention to detail with a prompt identification of issues.
Team-oriented with effective communication skills.
Able to perform well in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
Dedicated to upholding stringent quality and safety guidelines.
Possession of a driving licence is advantageous.

Working Conditions

Requirement to work alternating weekends.
Twelve-hour shifts on average, with flexibility to extend during peak periods.
