Position Overview
We are seeking a Quality Control Engineer to join a leading manufacturer specializing in large copper electrical components in Vapi, India. The ideal candidate will have expertise in non-destructive testing, precision measurement, and quality management standards to ensure product excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct tests at NDT Level II, specifically Ultrasonic Testing (UT), to verify product integrity. Utilize precision measuring tools such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges for dimensional inspections. Interpret mechanical blueprints accurately to assess quality parameters. Implement and adhere to ISO 9001:2015 quality management system requirements. Perform thorough visual and dimensional evaluations to confirm compliance with specifications.
Candidate Profile
The role requires proficiency in handling a variety of measuring instruments and the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings effectively. Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards and quality control protocols is essential for successful performance.
