Overview

As a Purchasing Officer, you will manage all purchasing documentation with care, maintain precise records including cost analysis and market research, and play a key role in ensuring smooth procurement processes that enhance guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist procurement by sourcing and purchasing materials and supplies, researching prices, and ensuring all actions comply with company purchasing policies.
- Receive and verify deliveries by checking goods against purchase orders, invoices, and quality specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Manage requisitions by issuing and distributing items to various departments, maintaining adequate stock, and alerting supervisors when supplies are low or depleted.
- Handle invoice processing by receiving, verifying, scanning documents, and addressing any discrepancies promptly to facilitate timely payments.
- Support inventory control by conducting regular stock counts, updating tracking systems with received items, and reporting any shortages or inconsistencies.
Required Qualifications and Attributes
- Diploma or degree in Business, Hospitality, or related fields is preferred.
- Understanding of hospitality operations and supply chain workflows.
- Strong negotiation capabilities paired with excellent communication skills.
- High attention to detail alongside solid organizational skills.
- Experience with procurement or inventory software and related systems.
