Role Purpose

As a Public Area Cleaner, you will be a valued member of our Housekeeping team, responsible for maintaining high cleanliness standards in all common areas. You should be comfortable working independently or as part of a team and enjoy engaging with guests to assist with their queries or requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an impeccable appearance for the property interior and exterior at all times.
• Take on cleaning duties across indoor and outdoor public areas such as the pool, gym, and shared restrooms, ensuring they meet stringent cleanliness and presentation criteria.
• Support room attendants by assisting with room cleaning and removing linen when necessary.
• Operate specialized cleaning equipment and handle chemicals appropriately and safely.
• Provide assistance to guests regarding inquiries and safety concerns, coordinating effectively with other departments to fulfill tasks.
• Act as a vigilant link to maintenance and guest services by promptly reporting maintenance issues, broken equipment, or missing items.

Required Experience and Skills

• Previous relevant cleaning experience in roles such as cleaner, room attendant, or public areas attendant is beneficial.
• A friendly and warm communication manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail with effective time management and a commitment to quality work.
• Physical fitness and flexibility to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including access to staircases and uncovered spaces.
• Enjoys teamwork and interacting with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and public holidays as required.
