Public Area Attendant

Role overview

This position focuses on keeping the resort’s public spaces spotless, hygienic, and welcoming at all times. The role is based at Villa Park in the Maldives and covers both indoor and outdoor common areas across the property.

Key duties

• Maintain a consistently high standard of presentation across the property and all guest-facing public areas.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks in internal and external shared spaces, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, sanitization, and overall appearance meet set standards.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly and safely.
• Look after the pool area, gym, and communal washrooms, keeping them clean, sanitized, and properly stocked.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a comparable role.
• Ability to communicate in basic English.
• Physical and mental fitness to carry out the responsibilities of the job.
• Previous resort experience will be considered an added advantage.
