Project Planning & Control Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Planning & Control Manager to join our Development Control team. This pivotal role involves leading project planning and controls for large-scale development initiatives, ensuring successful delivery through comprehensive scheduling, budgeting, and performance oversight.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project planning and controls activities on significant development projects.
• Create, update, and monitor integrated master schedules and program plans to guide project progress.
• Aggregate project timelines and financials into comprehensive portfolio-level reports.
• Track project performance closely, detect deviations in schedule and cost, and propose effective mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate coordination of planning tasks among PMCs, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Conduct critical path analyses, evaluate risks, and deliver progress status updates.
• Supervise document control processes ensuring strict adherence to governance standards.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is essential.
• 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in project planning and controls.
• Demonstrated success working from the Owner side or as part of a Project Management Consultant on major development, infrastructure, or real estate projects.
• Expert knowledge of Primavera P6 is mandatory.
• Proficiency in project scheduling, cost management, budgeting, as well as risk and change management.
• Strong abilities in executive reporting and handling portfolio planning tasks.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.
