Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Project Manager based in Indooroopilly, Queensland to manage the complete lifecycle of powerline and substation structure projects. This role encompasses planning, scheduling, coordinating cross-functional teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high standards of design, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning and scheduling efforts to manage timelines effectively.
- Coordinate internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to streamline project execution.
- Monitor budgets and progress to ensure milestones are met.
- Oversee logistics, including transportation and warehousing, to guarantee timely supply of materials.
- Communicate regularly with clients and prepare detailed project status reports.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project integrity.
- Facilitate inspections and obtain necessary approvals in compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Support continuous improvement processes and contribute to comprehensive project documentation.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, logistics, and leadership teams to align objectives.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Strong expertise in project management including coordination, stakeholder communication, and risk handling.
- Proficient in order expediting to ensure prompt material delivery and supplier performance management.
- Experience in quality inspections to uphold compliance and safety regulations.
- Skilled in logistics management encompassing transportation and storage for smooth supply chain operations.
- Previous experience in power transmission, utilities, or infrastructure sectors is highly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and foster positive client and supplier relationships.
- Familiarity with project management software and advanced MS Office capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Applicants must currently reside in Brisbane or be willing to relocate within Australia.

- This is an office-based position; hybrid and site-based roles are not applicable.
