Contract Details

This role is a 12-month contract position with a daily pay rate of €269.23 under PAYE. The workplace model is hybrid, offering flexible days at the office.

Role Overview

The primary duty involves providing project management support for implementing electronic and physical security systems including intruder detection, CCTV, access control, fencing, security doors, and window grilles coordinated by colleagues in a separate business unit. The position also includes facilities management (FM) input during preliminary and detailed design stages, as well as overseeing delivery of mechanical, electrical, and architectural systems across projects. The candidate represents the FM operations lead in multiple online and on-site workshops and serves as the local delivery interface to ensure systems are properly installed, commissioned, and handed over while maintaining close communication with the central Security Team.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the local liaison for installing security systems and FM operations at assigned sites.
Supervise installation quality of intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, fencing, security-rated doors, and window grilles.
Coordinate with project managers to ensure compliance with office fitout specifications and detailed design.
Participate in weekly project meetings with PM, design, and construction teams both virtually and onsite.
Ensure all works conform to project plans, technical standards, and security requirements.
Coordinate with third-party vendors for timely commissioning and testing for handover.
Provide weekly project updates and facilitate onsite decisions or design changes in liaison with Security and FM Operations representatives.
Communicate project progress, risks, and resource needs with the central Security/Operations Projects Team.
Represent the onsite security program management run by other business units.
Manage communication flow between local stakeholders and central teams, escalating issues promptly.
Oversee contractor coordination onsite, ensuring adherence to safety, security policies, and quality standards.
Track contractor performance and verify installation compliance.
Maintain accurate records of progress, site conditions, and contractor attendance.
Collect documentation such as test sheets, commissioning certificates, and as-built drawings to support the central team.
Prepare weekly progress reports and update project trackers.
Document minutes from weekly site meetings and distribute to stakeholders.
Assist with onsite testing, snag resolution, and ensure systems meet performance criteria.
Facilitate final handover of completed works to operations teams.
Monitor development of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) documentation and ensure Asset Registers align with operational needs.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience in project coordination, site supervision, or technical installation support within construction, engineering, security systems, or related fields.
Excellent communication skills for managing diverse stakeholders.
Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
Ability to understand and work with technical drawings, schematics, and installation instructions.
Proficiency in project tracking tools such as Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of electronic security systems including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms, or familiarity with physical security products.
Experience working with contractors within live operational environments.
