Overview
The Program Manager role focuses on spearheading impactful healthcare programs and strategic projects at both Federal and State levels in Nigeria. This position acts as a key driver in forming and managing partnerships that enhance healthcare delivery, increase patient access, and improve measurable health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
The role demands coordination among various stakeholders including government entities, healthcare facilities, professional groups, NGOs, donors, pharmaceutical companies, private sector players, and healthcare financiers. The Program Manager will foster ecosystem partnerships, support market access efforts, and convert high-level strategies into concrete achievements within the healthcare sector.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields such as Pharmacy, Medicine, Public Health, Health Sciences, Biological Sciences, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or Social Sciences, with at least a second class upper division. A Master’s degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Health Economics, International Development, or related disciplines is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with public-private partnerships (PPPs)
- Background working with donor-funded projects and development organizations
- Familiarity with pharmaceuticals, healthcare, diagnostics, and medical devices sectors
- Knowledge of healthcare funding and market access environment
- Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management credentials
- Engagement experience with medical associations, hospitals, and key opinion leaders (KOLs)
- Master’s degree in public health or related disciplines
- Experience in healthcare system strengthening or transformation initiatives
- Strong orientation toward execution and results
- Strategic thinker with resilience and adaptability
