Program Manager - Digital Strategic Programs

About the Role

The position involves careful coordination, dependency tracking, documentation management, and regular leadership communication to guarantee seamless program delivery aligned with the strategic roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate execution and coordination of programs across multiple teams, developing and maintaining comprehensive timelines that cover all project pods.
• Monitor portfolio activities to ensure adherence to defined scope, milestones, and timelines, proactively identifying and escalating risks, blockers, or deviations in scope or scheduling.
• Collaborate closely with pod and track leaders as well as functional teams to ensure alignment on project scope, priorities, and delivery expectations.
• Lead cross-team collaboration efforts to resolve dependencies and address execution obstacles effectively.
• Organize and lead working sessions involving stakeholders, preparing agendas, recording critical decisions, action items, and outlining subsequent steps.
• Maintain thorough and accessible program documentation such as plans, trackers, and operation frameworks in a centralized repository.
• Maintain a RAID log to document risks, issues, assumptions, and key decisions, supporting mitigation efforts and prompt resolution of critical matters, escalating when necessary.
• Prepare and distribute regular status updates for leadership and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and decision requirements.
• Support leadership meetings by assisting with agenda setting, note-taking, and monitoring action items to track follow-through.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 8 years applying project management methodologies and tools within industry environments.
• At least 8 years managing large-scale, complex business or IT projects.
• Minimum of 8 years experience in building and mentoring project teams.
• At least 6 years mentoring other project managers in program and project management practices.
• 8 or more years of business experience in comprehensive, matrixed organizations.

Base salary for this role is determined based on multiple factors including job-related skills, experience, location, and internal equity. Hiring at the top range is uncommon and depends on various circumstances.
