The business unit Wurth Electronics Midcom, headquartered in Germany but US-based, focuses on custom magnetics design and production. This position is for a full-time Production Worker in Munich, contributing to manufacturing optimization and quality in transformer production.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate within advanced test and inspection settings to manufacture transformers (under 400W) and perform electrical and mechanical parameter measurements.
- Identify and develop solutions to manufacturing issues during the design and production phases.
- Collaborate intensively with development engineers to implement feasible transformer manufacturing strategies.
- Manage technical documentation and sample report completion to ensure thorough production records.
Candidate Profile and Skills
- Completed vocational training preferably as an electronics or electrical technician or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience with measurement techniques, mechanical processes, and fundamental electronic components is advantageous.
- Proficient understanding of transformer and inductor testing standards.
- Strong command of MS Excel for technical documentation.
- Fluent business-level English; proficiency in German is a plus.
- Capable of diagnosing and resolving production errors and process inefficiencies to maintain smooth operations.
