Job Summary
The Production Technician will support daily manufacturing processes including equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Candidates may choose between permanent day or night shifts. Benefits include island-wide transportation, shift allowances, overtime pay, annual wage supplements, variable bonuses, and meals.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate assigned machines or process units effectively.
- Troubleshoot machine or equipment malfunctions to fulfill production goals and maintain quality standards.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities such as cleaning, servicing, and parts replacement.
- Continuously monitor and record machine/process parameters during operation; initiate corrective actions when deviations occur to maintain control.
- Perform sampling inspections aligned with the Quality plan to verify product specifications; manage non-conforming products as required.
- Assist Team Leader with implementing changes and projects within the production area while ensuring compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), quality, cost, and scheduling requirements.
- Maintain accurate logging on the machine MES satellite system, including lot numbers, production output, waste, and downtime.
- Handle material management tasks such as packing, unpacking, loading, and unloading.
- Conduct visual inspections using scopes as necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Minimum of Secondary School/"O" Level/SPM/NITEC/Diploma in any discipline.
- Must have legal authorization to work in Singapore.
- Capable of working in manufacturing cleanroom or non-cleanroom settings.
- Available for permanent day or night shifts.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods.

Work Location and Shift
The role is based at BD’s Tuas Plant, Singapore with a normal production shift from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Candidates may also opt for permanent night shifts.
