Production Planner (Semiconductor)

Job Overview

• Develop and implement the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to align with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and ensure customer delivery requirements are met.
• Coordinate and synchronize production workflows across multiple departments, managing job demand planning for complex electronic equipment assembly.
• Ensure component availability through thorough checks to maintain uninterrupted assembly operations.
• Analyze Bills of Materials (BOM) and production capacity to determine efficient manufacturing routings.
• Oversee Engineering Change Orders (ECO) on the production floor, coordinating part phase-ins to reduce scrap waste.
• Address and resolve production delays, execute schedule recovery activities, and monitor key performance indicators such as Plan vs. Actual (PVA).

Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
• Between 2 to 5 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in ERP system usage and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
