Job Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily production schedules to meet established targets.
• Oversee shop floor operations including machining, assembly, testing, and packaging processes.
• Optimize the use of manpower, machinery, and materials for efficient production.
• Track production output and take measures to enhance productivity.
• Collaborate with departments such as Quality, Purchase, Stores, Maintenance, and Dispatch to synchronize production efforts.
• Verify that all products comply with quality standards prior to dispatch.
• Analyze rejection rates, rework, and production losses and enforce corrective measures.
• Maintain detailed production documentation including reports, work orders, and daily logs.
• Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules for machinery.
• Implement and sustain 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing principles within operations.
• Provide training and guidance to operators and technicians on production workflows and standard operating procedures.
• Uphold safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing production environment; fresh graduates will also be considered.
• Proficient in production planning and managing shop floor activities.
• Capable of interpreting engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOM).
• Basic knowledge of machine tools.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Thread Gauges.
• Competent in using MS Excel and ERP software.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Automobile Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Ceramics, or Manufacturing Engineering to be eligible.

Compensation

Salary package ranges between 300000 INR and 550000 INR per annum.
