Product Manager

About the role

Pacagen is a venture-backed house of brands that develops consumer products using biotechnology and in-house research. The company is building in the immune, inflammation, and consumer health spaces, with a first brand already serving more than 70,000 customers in its second year. A second brand is planned for launch in summer 2026. The business is founded by experienced entrepreneurs who have previously built and sold nine-figure companies, and is supported by investors including Maveron, Khosla Ventures, and Mars.

This position is a hands-on Product Manager role with a dual focus: scaling organic and paid growth for existing products while helping develop new products and partnerships, and building campaigns that explain the brand clearly to consumers. The role works closely with the co-founders and supports the growth of Wildtype, a health supplement brand being built from the ground up.

What you'll do

• Shape the branding and feature definition for physical products, and help turn R&D ideas from the lab into market-ready offerings.
• Drive launch planning and product marketing for new products, coordinating closely with the internal marketing team.
• Manage supplier and partner relationships needed to set up the supply chain for new products.
• Prepare guidance and support materials for customer support partners before product launches.
• Work with the founders to assess new product categories for R&D and future development opportunities.
• Lead strategic growth marketing efforts for existing products to help the business scale quickly.
• Pick up new skills as needed and contribute wherever the brand needs support.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in any discipline, along with a strong academic record.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or another demanding, high-performance environment.
• Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a consistent record of producing high-quality work.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Solid project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• A genuine drive to keep learning and improving professionally.
• A mindset that pushes beyond average or merely adequate output.
• Strong enthusiasm for consumer products.
