Role Overview
Unacademy is looking for a Product Manager for its online test preparation business in Bengaluru. This is a hands-on, on-site role for someone who enjoys building consumer products at scale and improving experiences that serve millions of learners.
About the Company
Unacademy is a major Indian education platform that supports learners through online test prep, offline learning centres, and digital education products. Its Product and Technology teams work in a fast-moving environment where ownership, scale, and learner-focused thinking are central to the work.
What This Role Involves
In this position, you will take end-to-end ownership of learner-facing products and work closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Content, and Business teams. The goal is to shape product direction, deliver execution, and create measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the product roadmap across major learner journeys.
- Convert learner needs and business goals into well-defined product requirements and PRDs.
- Work with Engineering and Design to deliver strong product experiences.
- Run experiments and improve important metrics such as activation, engagement, retention, and conversion.
- Coordinate across Product, Tech, Growth, Analytics, and Content teams to move initiatives forward.
What We’re Looking For
The preferred candidate will have 2 to 5 years of core product management experience in B2C companies, along with strong product judgment and a data-led approach to decisions. Prior experience of owning products from start to finish is important. Graduates from Tier-1 or other premier institutes are preferred. The role also calls for comfort in a fast-paced environment with high ownership.
