Procurement Manager

About the Role

Louis Vuitton Americas is looking to hire a Procurement Manager responsible for optimizing procurement workflows and offering strategic procurement guidance across varied departments within indirect categories. The role focuses on areas like Retail Operations, Facilities Maintenance, Events, Travel, Corporate Services, and Visual Merchandising. Key tasks include managing RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, selecting suppliers, and ensuring procurement aligns with organizational strategy and spending principles, aiming for substantial cost savings while maintaining LVMH quality standards across multiple sites.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee both tactical and strategic procurement activities across diverse indirect spend categories, strictly following policies and procedures.
• Manage competitive bidding, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiations to secure optimum pricing and terms.
• Partner with stakeholders and senior executives on projects to control spending, uncover cost-saving prospects, and strengthen supplier partnerships.
• Create and implement strategies targeting long-tail spend optimization and other initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Develop and present comprehensive operational dashboards, KPIs, and detailed reports relating to procurement performance and efficiency.
• Utilize advanced spend analytics, purchase order data, and market insights to identify opportunities for cost reductions, supplier consolidation, and process enhancements.
• Provide operational and strategic support supporting various departments, promoting proactive issue resolution and cross-functional communication.
• Lead efforts to continuously improve procurement processes, promote best practices, and optimize workflow productivity.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards throughout procurement activities.

Qualifications and Profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related technical discipline.
• More than 5 years in procurement roles, including 2-3 years in managerial or category leadership positions, with proven expertise managing indirect spend categories.
• Experience managing procurement across categories such as Retail Operations, IT, Facilities Maintenance, Events, Travel, Corporate Services, or Visual Merchandising.
• Experience working within multi-site operational environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong capabilities in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and advanced data analysis using Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, including presentation capabilities tailored to executive audiences.
• Demonstrates leadership, adaptability, strong process orientation, organizational ability, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relations with a customer service focus and meticulous attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, with eligibility for bonuses. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, short- and long-term disability plans, paid time off, employee discounts and perks, plus two employer-contributed retirement plans.
