Process Engineer

Position Overview

This part-time remote Process Engineer position at OBE | Bureau d'Études Enveloppe du Bâtiment centers on refining and advancing processes related to building envelope systems. The engineer will partner with diverse teams to study existing workflows, design enhancements, and apply process controls aimed at boosting efficiency, quality, and safety standards.

Key Duties

• Developing and maintaining accurate process documentation.
• Conducting technical evaluations to support process improvements.
• Assisting project teams with expert insights on process-related matters.
• Engaging in ongoing initiatives that drive continuous process enhancements.
• Participating in virtual meetings and offering technical input on design and engineering choices.
• Ensuring process adherence to applicable standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Process Engineering and Process Design to create and optimize technical workflows effectively.
• Strong skills in Process Control and data analysis to monitor and enhance process performance.
• A solid background in Chemical Engineering for understanding system behaviors and constraints.
• Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities for effective teamwork in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with engineering and data analysis tools, including CAD software, simulation platforms, and spreadsheet applications.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage technical information efficiently.
• A degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as Chemical, Process, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in process optimization or involvement in building-related projects is advantageous.
