About the Role
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools is seeking a dedicated Probationary Full-Time Educational Assistant for Mother d'Youville School located in Beaumont, Alberta, starting August 26, 2026. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting students with exceptional abilities or medical requirements and demonstrate enthusiasm and energy in their role.
Key Responsibilities
The appointed Educational Assistant will provide compassionate and patient support to students with complex medical and academic challenges, ensuring their needs are met effectively within the school environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates with experience in healthcare settings will be preferred. Employment is contingent upon submitting up-to-date background verifications, including a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector screening and an Alberta Children's Intervention Record Check, both completed within the last six months. While being Catholic is not mandatory, it is viewed positively.
