Role Description and Responsibilities
As a key member of an agile team, you act as the technical liaison between sales, our data experts, and clients. You will design forward-looking data platform solutions and strategies.
- Translate client needs into specific solution proposals using platforms like Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI, or similar.
- Analyze both technical and business requirements to develop tailored solution concepts from initial idea through to proposal.
- Create technical presales concepts and effort estimations for offers and tenders.
- Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and proof-of-concept demonstrations; confidently present solutions to decision-makers and specialists.
- Continuously refine our offer standards including reference solutions, costing models, and presales best practices.
- Monitor developments in the Microsoft and Databricks ecosystems and introduce new ideas into our consulting services.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s, Diploma, Master’s degree, or equivalent education or practical experience.
- Several years of professional experience in presales, solution architecture, or consultancy within data and analytics environments.
- Understanding of modern cloud data platform solutions such as Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
- Expertise in designing data warehouse, lakehouse, or analytics solutions.
- Confident in delivering presentations and workshops, including in English.
- Structured, analytical, and solution-focused working approach.
- Consultant mentality: driven to comprehend client needs deeply and deliver sustainable solutions beyond mere technology presentations.
- Desirable: Experience integrating SAP systems; knowledge of Medallion architecture and Kimball modeling.
