Location and Work Arrangement
The company offers full flexibility in work location: candidates can work remotely from anywhere within the Republic of Ireland or choose to work at the spacious Galway office, ensuring a work environment that supports both personal wellbeing and professional performance.
Role Overview
The Power Platform Developer will work closely with the BrightWork 365 Customer Success team to develop customized solutions built on the BrightWork 365 platform. Responsibilities include translating business needs into effective and scalable Power Platform applications such as Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI reports. The role also involves designing and implementing enhancements to boost customer process efficiency, adoption, and business results. The developer will collaborate with business and IT teams to specify requirements, validate solutions, and ensure successful project completion. Continuous improvement efforts, including solution performance tuning, usability improvements, and ease of maintenance, are also a key part of the role. Active participation in Agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives is expected.
Candidate Profile
- Between 2 and 4+ years of experience delivering solutions using Microsoft Dynamics and/or Power Platform.
- Demonstrable expertise in Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI is essential.
- Experience with Canvas Apps and SharePoint is desirable.
- Proven skills in interpreting and capturing business requirements to develop effective solutions, starting with well-thought-out designs.
- Strong communication skills and capability to work well within teams.
- A growth mindset with eagerness to continuously learn new technologies.
- Familiarity with software delivery lifecycle stages and both traditional and modern methodologies.
- Understanding of low-code/no-code platforms and ability to perform fit-gap analyses.
- Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping, innovation processes, Scrum, and Agile delivery.
- Knowledge in process design, systems thinking, customer and user journeys, UI/UX design is desirable.
- Familiarity with related Microsoft stack technologies such as .NET, SQL, JavaScript is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- Comfortable aligning with a cooperative business model focused on dynamic growth and sustainability rather than traditional exit strategies.
