Porter/Services Driver

About the Role

The Bodleian Libraries are looking for two Porter/Services Drivers to join their Facilities Team at Osney One, Oxford. The successful candidates will contribute to the efficient functioning of library services throughout the University by operating library vehicles, delivering books, transporting goods and passengers, and aiding in mail distribution.

Additional duties include maintaining the safety, security, and appearance of library buildings by performing tasks such as locking and unlocking premises, setting alarms, conducting basic maintenance, preparing rooms for events and meetings, and assisting with furniture and equipment relocation. This position demands a professional and customer-oriented demeanor, with frequent engagement with colleagues and library patrons.

The role is full-time, involving 36.5 hours of work weekly.
