Role Overview

This full-time plumber position is primarily onsite within Abu Dhabi client locations, with occasional remote work for planning, documentation, and coordination responsibilities. Core duties include installation, upkeep, and repair of plumbing systems, pipes, fixtures, valves, and fittings installed in both residential and commercial properties. The plumber will troubleshoot issues such as leaks and blockages, conduct system tests, execute preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with local municipal plumbing codes and safety regulations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing equipment and components on-site.
• Diagnose blockages and leaks promptly with effective troubleshooting methods.
• Test plumbing system operations and conduct routine preventive maintenance.
• Interpret technical drawings and produce accurate materials lists.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other tradesmen for smooth workflows.
• Maintain detailed records of completed tasks and materials used.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients on issues and progress.
• Keep work areas tidy and respond swiftly to service requests.

Required Qualifications

• Proven expertise in plumbing installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Experience handling pipes, valves, fittings; ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Demonstrated skills in routine maintenance and emergency repairs on building plumbing systems.
• Ability to perform general maintenance safely following regulatory and company standards.
• Excellent customer service aptitude, including clear communication and professionalism.
• Valid vocational certification or qualification in plumbing or building services; local licenses are beneficial.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety protocols and regional plumbing codes.
• Capability to work independently or collaboratively, with strong time and adaptability skills.
• Physical fitness for manual labor, including lifting, bending, working at heights, and in confined spaces.
• Previous experience in construction, general contracting, or facilities management in Abu Dhabi or surrounding areas is preferred.
