Job description
Job Overview
We seek a Piping Engineer with 2 to 6 years of expertise in Semiconductor, High Purity Gas Distribution, Cleanroom environments, and EPC projects to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and critically assess process piping layouts for projects.
- Generate Piping Isometric drawings, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Material Take-Offs (MTO).
- Interpret and evaluate Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Handle High Purity Gas Lines and specialized High Purity Piping systems.
- Oversee piping installation, fabrication, and erection efforts on site.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Project management, and onsite teams.
- Provide technical support during site execution and troubleshoot any technical challenges.
- Produce As-Built Drawings, Pipe Support Drawings, and maintain thorough welding documentation.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Plant 3D software tools.
- Strong understanding of Piping Isometric Drawings and Process Piping concepts.
- Technical knowledge about High Purity Piping and stainless steel grade SS316L piping materials.
- Familiarity with semiconductor, cleanroom conditions, and EPC project requirements.
- Ability to prepare accurate BOM and MTO reports.
