About Pawspact
Pawspact is a premium veterinary group licensed by MOCCAE, dedicated to treating pets as family. Through RelocateMyPet.ae, we specialize in comprehensive door-to-door pet relocation services for animals moving in and out of the UAE. This includes handling export permits, airline bookings, travel crates, health certificates, and all logistics related to pet travel.
Role Overview
As a Pet Relocation Agent, you will be responsible for managing pet relocation cases from initial inquiry through to the pet's safe arrival. Acting as the sole liaison for pet owners during what can be a highly stressful time, your goal will be to make the relocation process seamless and reassuring.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complete pet relocation cases including quotations, bookings, document preparation, and coordination on the day of travel.
- Prepare and manage import and export permits as per MOCCAE regulations, along with health certificates, vaccination records, microchip verification, and comply with destination-specific requirements.
- Arrange pet transport bookings for both cargo and in-cabin flights, working with IATA-compliant agents and international partners.
- Guide clients on appropriate travel crate sizes, pet acclimatization, and veterinary requirements prior to travel such as rabies titer tests and treatment schedules.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team for pre-travel health checks and issuance of fit-to-fly certificates.
- Maintain clear and ongoing communication with clients, providing transparent quotes and timelines without unexpected issues.
- Keep detailed records for each case and contribute to building a knowledge base about destination-specific regulations.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pet relocation or related freight/cargo logistics, with preference for pet relocation expertise.
- Solid understanding of MOCCAE import/export procedures and international pet travel regulations for regions such as the EU, UK, US, and Australia.
- Familiarity with IATA Live Animals Regulations and airline policies related to pet travel.
- Excellent English communication abilities; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding documentation and deadlines to ensure smooth relocations.
- Passion for animals with a calm and confident approach to handling dogs and cats.
- Possession of a UAE driving license is considered a plus.
