Role Overview
The EMEA Performance Marketing Manager is tasked with boosting pipeline, revenue, and brand visibility through multi-channel paid media campaigns across strategic EMEA markets. This position is a hands-on individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director of Performance Marketing - EMEA. The role involves leveraging AI and automation tools to handle routine tasks, enabling focus on strategic planning, creative experimentation, and cross-team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement paid media strategies across platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, StackAdapt, Demandbase, and Meta Ads targeting EMEA audiences.
- Collaborate with regional marketing teams to customize global campaigns for EMEA, including audience segmentation, messaging, creative testing, and landing page coordination.
- Optimize campaign parameters such as setup, audience targeting, creative assets, budgets, and bids to maximize performance and scale opportunities.
- Coordinate with creative, content, and campaign teams to produce and refine ad copy and creatives based on performance and market insights.
- Manage campaign budgets and pacing to align with regional priorities and planned outcomes.
- Establish and enhance operational workflows, documentation, and checklists to ensure efficiency and consistency within the global performance marketing team.
- Partner with Marketing Operations and Analytics teams to devise smarter workflows, minimize manual tasks, and enhance data quality.
- Identify and implement AI-driven tools, automations, and templates to streamline processes and facilitate scaling of best practices.
- Stay informed of paid media industry trends, platform updates, and competitor activities in EMEA; maintain strong vendor relationships and disseminate knowledge within the team.
- Lead implementation and troubleshooting of marketing technologies including advertising pixels, third-party tags, audience segmentation, and tracking to guarantee precise data capture.
- Drive AI and automation initiatives to transfer manual duties like reporting and trafficking to AI-driven processes, working closely with technical teams.
- Consolidate data from diverse sources to highlight regional and segment-specific patterns and recommend optimization and investment strategies.
- Build effective partnerships with stakeholders across marketing, sales, finance, and analytics to enhance performance marketing impact in the EMEA region.
- Contribute insights for quarterly and annual planning through data-driven analysis of channel performance and regional market dynamics.
- Utilize AI and automation tools to simplify campaign setup, quality assurance, and reporting tasks such as bulk data generation and naming conventions.
- Proactively suggest AI workflows or templates to accelerate routine tasks and collaborate on their evaluation and adoption.
- Contribute to comprehensive team documentation including checklists, playbooks, and guides to ensure replicable best practices across markets.
Work Setup
This is a hybrid role requiring presence in the office a minimum of two days per week, subject to team-specific arrangements and business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- More than five years of experience in digital advertising in an agency or in-house paid media environment.
- At least three years hands-on experience managing multi-channel digital campaigns including paid social, programmatic display, video, and native advertising.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional major EMEA languages is advantageous.
- Experience working across EMEA regions such as UKI, DACH, France, Benelux, Nordics, or Southern Europe with an understanding of local channel specificities and privacy compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate strategies into actionable steps and explain complex data-driven topics to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities with a track record of driving growth via experimentation and data analysis.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and performance reporting; comfort handling large datasets and multiple platforms.
- Experience with enterprise marketing analytics and BI tools like Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Hex.
- Background marketing B2B and/or SaaS products within performance marketing frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with AI or automation technologies to streamline marketing workflows such as QA checks, trafficking preparation, and initial diagnostics.
- Developing autonomous systems using tools such as Claude Code, ChatGPT, or Glean to improve operational efficiency.
