About the Role

This position offers a rare opportunity to handle payroll operations across Australia, the United Kingdom, and Canada, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and continuous enhancement within a truly international organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage comprehensive payroll processes across multiple countries and entities, including onboarding, terminations, HR data changes, leave management, payroll reconciliations, and payments.
  • Collaborate closely with external payroll providers to support payroll functions in Australia, the UK, and Canada.
  • Perform payroll output reconciliations and investigate discrepancies related to timesheets, leaves, superannuation, PAYG, and related transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation covering superannuation, PAYG withholding, Single Touch Payroll (STP), payroll tax, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Participate in reporting, auditing, compliance activities, and initiatives aimed at improving payroll processes and controls.

Requirements

  • At least three years of payroll processing experience in a dynamic corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems such as Sage People, MicrOpay, and/or ADP is preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
  • Capability to discern when to escalate issues appropriately.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management abilities and prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving mindset, and unwavering commitment to payroll accuracy and confidentiality.
